Known problems: (1) Please also check that /bin/sh is a symbolic link to /bin/bash. Otherwise installation will fail. (2) If gcc is not installed, please install it by "apt-get install gcc".

<h2> What is OpenXM? </h2>

It is an infrastructure for mathematical

communication.

We propose standards for mathematical computation

(OpenXM-RFC's). We will also support <a href="http://www.openmath.org"> OpenMath </a>.

The project is also making experiments to connect mathematical

software systems each other on the infrastructure.
